This walk is about 1 mile.
This walk takes you to the
heights above the zoo on the
east side of Rock Creek Park.

The homes are great and the
streets tree-lined.

Enjoy the remarkable Walter
C. Pierce Community Park with
chess tables, basketball court,
soccer field, playground and
dog park.
This is a hilly walk but the sidewalks are in good shape.

The park is fully accessible with a ramp that takes you to the lower level.

Park anywhere you want. Parking will be tighter on weekends when the weather is good due to the zoo's proximity.		 Take Metro to Woodley Park/Zoo/Adams Morgan on the Red line. Follow sign to zoo and walk through to the east side entrance.
